Comfort Care specializes in care for clients with cognitive impairments such as Dementia and Alzheimer's.

Our caregivers will come prepared with activities and books specifically designed for the memory impaired. These fun and exciting activiites advance motor and coordination skills and prompt the client to reminisce. This provides a defined challenge that will stimulate the mind.

Companionship
We provide company to the client in a safe and supervised environment. Including: meal preparation and light housekeeping, but the emphasis is on supervision and companionship.

Bathing Visits
Includes bathing, dressing, grooming, nail care, foot care, fresh change of sheets, making sure room is neat and clean.

Respite Care
Provides relief for family members who are the primary caregivers and need a rest. We are available for last minute calls. If the situation arises that family/caregiver are called away or just need some relaxation from the stress and pressures of caring for a loved one.

Homemaker
Includes strengthening and safeguarding the home to maintain independent living. For those who require short-term assistance or long-term care, and/or clients who have a chronic or a disabling condition.

Homemakers' duties include: meal preparation, snacks, light housekeeping, pet care and laundry.

Transportation
This service includes: shopping for basic necessities, taking client to doctor appointments, out-patient surgery, physical therapy or social outings.

It is preferred that the caregiver will use client's vehicle, when transporting client. Otherwise, caregiver will use his/her own personal vehicle to run errands.

Extended Care Services
We offer 24 hour 7 days a week or overnight services. Our assistance is only a phone call away.

Personal Care
Help with non-medical activities, such as bathing, dressing personal hygiene, grooming, walking, bowel and bladder care, exercise and range of motion, medication reminders, meals, light housekeeping and shopping.

Specialty Services This service will pamper the client. Including: manicures and relaxing warm water foot massage, which can help improve circulation of the feet and relieve stress.

Phone Check-in Service Our new phone check-in service offers peace of mind for individuals who want to remain independent in their daily living. Someone who cares will be in contact with you to monitor and confirm your well being.

Our courteous professional care management staff will call daily at a scheduled time each day. If there is a situation you feel needs attention, Comfort Care will have a list of appropriate contacts available in the event you need additional support. Comfort Care is available to service you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
